The route is pedestrian only and some stages are challenging. Here are some tips for you:
The walker should be in good health and equipped with appropriate clothing for sport hiking. It is recommended to also bring trekking poles;
Water and energy food supplies are recommended;
It is absolutely forbidden to leave waste along the trail;
Walking times should be calculated according to the degree of training;
Weather conditions should be checked so as not to run into difficulties along the way. It is advisable to choose low variants in case of bad weather in the previous days;
Care should be taken when crossing farmland at certain times of the year because farming operations or movement of farm equipment may be in progress;
Please be careful when walking on paths shared by mountain bikes;
Stage 2 (departing from Brescia) or stage 5 (departing from Bergamo) is suitable for people with hiking equipment, good athletic training and no vertigo issues. Alternatively, choose the low variant (identified as 2nd/4th stage Variante Bassa).
