INTESSIAMO IL CAMMINO - di Laura Renna
Along the stages of the Walk, textile installations by the artist Laura Renna are displayed: large tapestries woven by hand, using about two thousand handicrafts donated by the collective and participatory action "50 MILES - TOGETHER IN THE HUMAN CHAIN" conceived by the Association VIVA VITTORIA odv. In fact, Laura Renna wove the textile artefacts produced by the people who answered Viva Vittoria's call: more than 80 thousand strips of coloured wool, each one and a half metre long, have been designed to create a colourful human chain, on 4 June 2023, that united 40 thousand of people from Brescia to Bergamo, for a length of 50 miles.

Biography
Laura Renna (San Pietro Vernotico, Brindisi, 1971) vive e lavora a Modena. L’artista articola la sua ricerca servendosi della scultura, dell’installazione e della fotografia. Natura, memoria, metamorfosi, spazio sono i temi intorno ai quali la sua ricerca si muove. Frutto di una pratica artigianale, il suo lavoro rivela una attitudine trasformativa, nell’intenzione di riplasmare ciò che ha perso valore e funzione. Vince nel 2008 il Premio Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro all’International Competition for Young Sculptors. Finalista nel 2016 del Premio Fondazione Henraux e nel 2015 del IV Premio Francesco Fabbri. Nel 2018 rappresenta l’arte italiana alla Shenzhen Biennale, Luohu Art museum, Shenzhen.
