"Al tuo passo" by Claudia Losi
Claudia Losi's project consists of a permanent installation of over 40 worked and engraved stones, scattered along the path that goes from Nembro to the hamlet of Lonno. It is a series of small sculptures in local stone that recall the elongated ogival shapes of the "coti" stones, for centuries a fundamental product of the economy of this area. The artist has thought of a poetic punctuation with which to translate, through fragments of text and engraved images, the reflections gathered during the meetings and activities carried out with the community of Nembro. The work is a discreet presence inserted in the paving of the route, which accompanies the ascent, descent and stops of the wayfarers, entering into a relationship with the history and memory of the natural and anthropic landscape crossed by the path.

Biography
Claudia Losi (Piacenza,1971): la sua ricerca parte dall'osservazione delle relazioni che esistono tra l'individuo e la comunità a cui appartiene, con l’ecosistema minerale- animale-vegetale che condivide, con l’immaginario collettivo in cui si identifica. Realizza progetti pluridisciplinari che si sviluppano anche per lunghi periodi di tempo, attivando diverse forme di collaborazione (attraverso il cammino, il fare manuale e il canto corale) facendo rete e tessendo storie. Opera con diversi media come installazioni site-specific e performance, scultura, fotografia, opere tessili e su carta. Ha esposto le sue opere in numerose istituzioni in Italia e all'estero. Nel 2020 il suo progetto Being There_Oltre il giardino è stato tra i vincitori della IX edizione dell’Italian Council. Claudia ha lavorato ad un’installazione artistica permanente disposta in più punti lungo il sentiero che da Nembro arriva alla frazione di Lonno: una trentina di piccole sculture in pietra locale, inserite tra le altre pietre del sentiero, accompagneranno discretamente il passo e lo sguardo dei viandanti.
