ALBERI RICOMPOSTI by Jan Langer e Markus Gasser
“Alberi ricomposti” (Recomposed Trees) is an installation that creates a dialogue between man and nature, inviting reflection on the fragility of ecosystems. Fragments of fir branches, recomposed into new bark, transform trees into symbols of resilience, memory and rebirth. The work is not limited to aesthetics: it becomes an act of awareness, a call to responsibility towards the natural heritage threatened by urbanisation.
The installation was created for the environmental art project ‘Maddalena Bosco dell'Arte’, promoted by AAB, Associazione Artisti Bresciani.
- Title: ALBERI RICOMPOSTI
- Year: 2024

Biography
Markus Gasser (Merano, 1976) lives and works in Lana. An artist and craftsman, he combines nature, manual skills and music in an authentic creative journey. After years of working in social inclusion, since 2024 he has devoted himself entirely to art: he creates stone mosaics, mirrors, installations and traditional musical instruments from different cultures. He collaborates with artist Jan Langer on multisensory projects that combine visual arts and sound, and with the group “Zeitlous” he pursues musical research rooted in the South Tyrolean dialect. In his workshops, he teaches traditional techniques and an approach to creativity as a tool for sharing and freedom.
