CLIMAX di Mina Gechi e Laura Battesini

The work depicts an ostrich, symbolising those who ignore problems in the hope that they will disappear on their own. Here, it becomes a metaphor for the underestimation of the climate crisis, exacerbated by global warming and now evident in extreme weather events. 'Climax' refers to the point of maximum tension: as in a narrative, the ecological crisis has also reached a decisive moment, which requires an immediate change of course towards sustainability.
